Workplace Giving Campaigns
If you are a City of New York, state or federal employee, it’s easy to support Special Olympics New York through payroll deduction or with a one-time gift. Campaigns are generally held each fall and your employer will provide you with campaign materials and pledge cards. Special Olympics New York participates in the following campaigns:
State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA)
Statewide SEFA Charity Number: 999 00590
The State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) is the only authorized fundraising campaign among State employees. SEFA is a joint venture of State employees, public employee unions, management and not-for-profit organizations. In 2008-2009, the statewide SEFA Campaign raised more than $9 million.
Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the only authorized solicitation of Federal employees in their workplaces on behalf of approved charitable organizations. Federal employees continue to make the CFC the largest and most successful workplace philanthropic fundraiser in the world.

The Combined Municipal Campaign (CMC) is the annual giving campaign for New York City employees. When you make your donation to the CMC, you may choose to designate your payroll deduction pledge to Special Olympics New York by entering our 4 digit code (0819) on your pledge form.
The CUNY Campaign for Voluntary Charitable Giving
The CUNY campaign is the only university-wide charitable fundraising drive and is designed to provide the CUNY faculty and staff members the opportunity to give to the charity of their choice.
